Many cities around the world are at risk of running out of clean water in the near future. Some regions have poor water quality due to pollution and poor resource management. Other regions simply don’t have enough water. As human populations shift and grow across the globe, we aim to guarantee that people will have access to clean water wherever they are.
Our Technology
ZoomHydro makes it possible to move large volumes of water over long distances quickly and efficiently. First, our pods fill with water using an highly-efficient automatic conveyor system. Then the pods move along a guideway at forty miles per hour. This motion is powered by an electric motor and battery built into the rear section of each pod. Finally, the pod automatically empties at its destination and returns to its origin along a parallel guideway.
With this system, we can control the rate of water movement by simply adjusting the rate at which pods are sent. This allows for highly efficient water management and greatly increased water security.
